Pharmacy First saves time and offers convenient access to care. Patients can receive consultations, treatment, and appropriate medicines for minor illnesses directly from us as their local pharmacists or other pharmacies depending on who they wish to see.

In a confidential consultation, the pharmacist will ask about your health, medical history, allergies, medications, and current symptoms.

With patient consent, we may check relevant medical records to ensure comprehensive care and treatment recommendations.

• Earache (patients aged 1 to 17 year olds)
• Impetigo (aged 1 year and older)
• Infected insect bites (aged 1 year and older)
• Shingles (aged 18+)
• Sinusitis (aged 12+)
• Sore throat (aged 5+) 
• Uncomplicated urinary tract infections (UTIs) in women (women aged 16 to 64)

Patients can visit Consult Pharmacy directly for consultations about the specified conditions without needing a referral. Additionally, NHS 111, A&E departments and GPs can refer patients to pharmacies for minor ailment consultations and urgent supplies of prescribed medicines.
